Each year, the three Dead 2 Red teams meet at school to caravan down to the Dead Sea for the start of the race. The weather this year has been crazy and even though March is usually warm-ish, this year race day started out cold and rainy!
Thankfully by the time we got down to the Dead Sea the sun was peeking out and it was a good bit warmer.
Little bit of waiting around as all the teams get registered. Time for stretching and one last time to pray together as a team before the vans head out to set places on the road to pick up first runners...
The race is not actually by the Dead Sea for too long- maybe the first hour or so before the road becomes much more desert like...

Not much time to take pics through the night as the kids sprint (quite literally) toward the finish line, but here's a few candids...
